Using the Cosmos application TOM (Terminal Operations Monitor) the user (terminal manager or other operational people) places himself in the command seat of the terminal!
In real time the productivity of all different operations is displayed, as well as that of all active equipment on the terminal.
The drill-down functionality allows the user to get detailed information about each individual operation in the detail monitor:
Vessels Monitor
The Vessels Monitor window displays all operational vessels with their active cranes
Quay Crane Monitor
In the Quay Crane Monitor detailed production and productivity information is available for each of the active cranes.
Trucks Monitor
The Trucks Monitor shows relevant data about all interchange zones and about the transporters assigned to them.
Yard Monitor
The Yard Monitor window displays operational data of the housekeeping tasks currently registered in the system.
Warning System
Besides the monitoring feature, TOM is also equipped with a very advanced alerting system. The user can set a default value for each activity and per type of operation. Whenever the production figures come close to these default values, the alert function will come into action. Colored fields will draw the attention of the user to the problem area.
