This high level of automation however does not mean that our systems are inflexible or inaccessible. The behavior of the system is determined by parameters and most system settings are user-definable and can be tuned to your requirements. You can select either a manual or fully automatic approach.

Our background
In the 1980s we started developing container terminal applications as the IT department of Hessenatie, Belgium's leading terminal operators.
In 1992 Cosmos was founded as an independent company that wanted to share its experience and know how about optimization of terminal and stevedoring operations around the world.
Whereas our competitors have either a shipbuilder's origin or are merely software houses, Cosmos takes the terminal operator's approach when developing software solutions that best answer the needs of today's terminal operators.
Our products are the result of the gathered experience of terminal operators which is translated into software solutions that organize and automate terminal procedures in the best way possible.

Our product portfolio includes powerful, scalable and fully customizable software applications to optimize and automate the daily operations such as yard and vessel planning, equipment control and tracking, gate administration, invoicing and management reporting.
In addition we have a large number of services to offer you such as training, 24-hour support, turnkey solutions (including hardware, software and network services) and facility management of the local ICT departments.
